The Wycheproof 5K Summit Dash is a one-of-a-kind event that loops around the base of the world’s smallest registered mountain—Mt. Wycheproof—before finishing with a spirited climb to its modest summit.
This scenic and fun 5-kilometre course begins in the township of Wycheproof and winds its way along quiet country roads and trails, offering participants sweeping views of the surrounding plains and the iconic granite rise of Mt. Wycheproof as it looms gently ahead. You’ll circumnavigate the base of the mountain, taking in the quirky charm and natural beauty of the area, before tackling the final ascent.
Don’t be fooled by its humble stature—Mt. Wycheproof may stand only 43 metres above the surrounding plain (at 148m above sea level), but the last leg still packs a punch!
